All Pest Services is committed to ensuring the safety of our customers and staff is the highest priority. We will make sure that our service is carried out in such a way as to ensure the safety of people, pets, wildlife and the wider environment. All our staff undertake regular health and safety training including in the safe use of pesticides. We endeavour to use products that are both effective and reduce harmful effects to the environment within a broad integrated pest management framework. Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is based upon principles which, while achieving effective pest control, minimize the potential for exposure to pesticides. We believe in the need to protect people and premises from the adverse effects of pests whilst using means that also protect them from potential harm through the use of pesticides. Pesticides are only employed where this is essential in order to achieve control of the pest species in question and only then once all other alternatives, such as cleaning and pest proofing, have been considered. All pesticides are approved by Ministers under the Control of Pesticides Regulations 1986 and the Control of Pesticides (Amendment) Regulations 1997. We are committed to the safe use of pesticides which are always used in accordance with their conditions of approval, the manufacturer’s instructions, product label, COSHH regulations and prevailing best practice.
